Snowstorm Hits Seattle: Another ‘Snow Day’

Weather forecasters have been predicting the worst blizzard in over 20 years to sweep through Seattle.  After taking measurements, Seattle came in with around 4-6 inches of snow this morning while other areas like Olympia getting over 10 inches and expecting to reach record highs of up to 20 inches.

High winds and light snow are likely to continue until Friday.  Drivers should drive with extreme caution and chain up as necessary in icy areas.

Many school districts have closed today due to the harsh driving conditions.  To see a live update, you can view Komo’s School Closures & Delay’s page, here.
