Doodling during class now encouraged: Doodle 4 Google Contest


The Doodle 4 Google team at Google has launched a nationwide contest that is calling out all students.  From now through March 23rd, 2012, you will be able to submit your Doodle to Google for your chance to win some life changing prizes.  The winner from last year, includes 8 year old Matteo Lopez.  


Doodle 4 Google is a contest where young people are invited to redesign Google’s homepage logo.  This year’s doodling theme is, “If I could travel in time, I’d visit…”  The winner will see their art on the Google homepage, win $30,000 for college and $50,000 for their school.

Prizes include:

  • Winning doodle featured on Google’s homepage on May 18th, 2012
  • Winning doodle featured on a limited edition 64-pack of Crayola crayons
  • $30,000 college scholarship for the winner
  • $50,000 technology grant for the winner’s school
