La Vita E Bella offers a taste of Italy in the Heart of Belltown

SEATTLE, WA – It’s no surprise that La Vita e Bella proprietor Giuseppe Forte, born and raised in Palermo, Sicily, has opened yet another Italian creation in Seattle. It’s like his gift to the city. After finishing hospitality school in Italy, Forte came to the U.S. in the early 90s, to pursue his passion to open a restaurant. Since that time, he has opened four restaurants in Seattle. La Vita e Bella is his first. Just next door, he has now opened Forte Café & Wine Bar, located in the same building, offering a more casual environment, with quick bites such as Bruschetta, Pizzette, Panini, and other fresh foods to-go as well as a charming wine bar.

“The Café is a lovely little spot to get a bite to eat while you savor a glass of wine during lunch,” said Forte. “Or perhaps at the end of the day, when you want to catch up with a friend, and not feel rushed. That’s what we aim to do, sit down, and enjoy old world flavor and neighborhood charm while appreciating our savory bites.”

“Not to be ignored is our sister restaurant La Vita e Bella as we look forward to the spring and summer as one of our favorite times of the year at the restaurant,” added Forte. “As the sun begins to find its way in Seattle, we look forward to outdoor dining and we now have a view of the Space Needle, so diners can appreciate a delectable meal, glass of wine and the view.”

At La Vita e Bella, guests can always expect to find wonderful house made pasta and the freshest of ingredients such as King Crab, Dungeness Crab, Smoked and Fresh Salmon, Wild Boar and much more, all prepared using either traditional or family recipes.
