YAKIMA, WA – With more than 70 wineries and acre upon acre of picturesque rolling vineyards, a weekend away in Yakima Wine Country is the perfect way to treat Mom to a Mother’s Day she deserves. 

Here are a few ways to celebrate this special holiday with Mom in the Yakima Valley:

There is no more beautiful place than the lodge at Canyon River Ranch to tell Mom how much you appreciate her. Join Canyon River for a Sunday brunch catered by Chef Frank Magana, on May 13. Treat Mom to lunch or refreshments at Cascade Garden and find her the perfect gift, all while supporting the Voices for Children Foundation. Spring Faire is a unique community gathering featuring local artisans with their hand-crafted items, gourmet lunch offerings, espresso, and other light fare, wine tasting, hanging flower baskets for sale, and hourly silent auctions. Entertainment includes live music and dance performances on multiple stages, as well as glassblowing and other demonstrations. There will be a free flower for every Mom. Admission is by donation to Voices for Children Foundation, and proceeds will go directly to this charity.
