If you aren’t aware of who the Heavy Restaurant Group is, perhaps you have heard of some their current restaurants, Purple (four locations in Bellevue, Seattle, Woodinville, and Kirkland), Lot No. 3 in Bellevue, and Barrio in Capitol Hill. They also own Cast Iron Studios, a private space for corporate events and workshops.
With the recent closing of Tully’s, the space that has a prime location in Woodinville’s Hollywood Vineyards shopping center became available, and was swooped up pretty darn quick by Heavy Restaurant Group.
Quick Fact: Hollywood Vineyard has also been home to the Woodinville Purple since 2001.
The new concept has not been named yet, but will have the vibe of a casual coffee house with tons of room to quietly enjoy your espresso, and head in for a quick lunch. But fear not, Heavy Restaurant Group is fully aware of all the amazing breweries, wineries, and distilleries popping up around town and promises to let the local neighborhood talent shine. The new concept is set to launch in Spring 2013.
