Spa at Salish Lodge Recognized as Only Washington Spa in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2013 List

Pacific Northwest destination spa appears on premier list for fourth consecutive year

Snoqualmie, Wash. – The Spa at Salish Lodge announces the distinctive honor of being recognized by Condé Nast Traveler readers as one of the Top 270 Spas in North America, the Caribbean, Hawaii and at Sea. Ranked number 11 among the Top 75 U.S. Hotel Spas, the readers’ poll reveals The Spa at Salish Lodge as the only Washington state spa to appear on the entire list. With an overall score of 96.4, this is the fourth consecutive year The Spa at Salish Lodge has appeared on the list and with the highest score it has ever received.
“A variety of very significant changes have happened this year at Salish Lodge & Spa, including a $1.2 million renovation and some very notable updates in The Spa, “said Melanie Silver, director of rooms and spa at Salish Lodge & Spa. “I’m thrilled to see that our clients are responding well to these additions, including our new relaxation room and herb and honey scrub bar that utilizes ingredients produced on-site.”

Coming in early 2013, The Spa at Salish Lodge will unveil a brand new DermaLife™ Spa-Jet™ which will allow for unique and rare treatments to completely reinvigorate a guest’s full body, multi-sensory spa experience.

Debuting in the March 2013 issue of Condé Nast Traveler, respondents were asked to give a comprehensive rating on each spa ranging from excellent to poor on the following three criteria: treatments, spa staff, and spa facilities. Those criterion scores were averaged to determine the overall rating for the spa.
