America’s Favorite Food Truck Announces Exciting New Talent To Culinary Team, Leading Efforts in Catering and Special Events
The team behind Marination ma kai, Marination Station and Marination Mobile, the Seattle-based Hawaiian-Korean food truck named America’s Best Food Truck by Good Morning America viewers, are pleased to welcome Chef Angie Roberts to lead their culinary team. Chef Roberts will provide company wide leadership, develop a larger catering menu of diverse offerings for all occasions, and create a summer events series at Marination Ma Kai in West Seattle, including luau’s, barbeques overlooking the Puget Sound, and other special events.
Roberts is a native to the Pacific Northwest, growing up in Northern Idaho on her family farm. At age 18, Roberts began her career studying both nutrition and culinary arts at Seattle Central Community College. She has worked for some of Seattle’s most celebrated restaurants including Flying Fish under Chef Christine Keff, BOKA Kitchen + Bar, Earth and Ocean, and most recently, she was part of the chef team for Josh Henderson’s Huxley Wallace Collective restaurant group.
“I remember when Marination was one of the first food trucks on the scene in Seattle,” says Chef Roberts. “It’s awesome to see how Marination has evolved over the years and how enthusiastic locals and tourists are about the food and the experience. I’m really excited to be a part of team.”
Currently, Roberts resides in Seattle and is a member of Slow Food Seattle.
