Before they shut ‘er down, come and throw some down, pancakes that is, with Cupcake Royale Founder Jody Hall, before the wrecking ball hits this beauty in Bellevue. Collecting Stories!
“Come and get syrupy with us,” said Hall. “We want to hear your stories about sweet memories in this faux Swiss Chalet building over the years since it was constructed as an IHOP in the 60’s. Favorite memories of your first pancakes, memories with grandparents dining at the ole IHOP, or memories of enjoying cupcakes within these walls.”
Cupcake Royale is encouraging fans to share their photos, stories, events, memories and to share on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #GetSyrupy.
“We are so appreciative of all of the love that Bellevue fans have shown us over the years and don’t worry, we will soon be opening a new Bellevue location,” added Hall. “We look forward to bidding the fabled building a fond farewell and we won’t let her go out without a proper sendoff.”
Cupcake Royale was recently voted ‘Best Sweets’ by 425 Magazine and will honor that accolade with a soon-to-be announced new café in Bellevue. Until the new location makes its debut, Bellevue customers can continue to order online and pick up cupcakes at Pagliacci on Main Street in Bellevue, find Cupcake Royale cupcakes at the Metropolitan Market Kirkland or get FREE delivery to qualifying zip codes on the eastside during June and July by calling 425-454-7966 or email Bellevue@cupcakeroyale.com.
