Autumn Martin Accepts Prize at the Summer Fancy Food Show in NYC
Autumn Martin and trusty NW Sales Rep Emily Wandres traveled to New York City at the end of last month for the Summer Fancy Food Show, where three of Martin’s products had been nominated for sofiTM Awards, the awards given by the Specialty Food Association. A panel of over 200 food experts chose the winners, which were announced at a red carpet ceremony … where Martin was thrilled to hear her S’mores Kit announced as one of the winners of the Best Food Gift Award!
Martin was delighted to take the stage with other food pioneers making wonderful goods. Afterward, she got to meet with some of her fellow lady chocolatiers and personal inspirations: “It was so special for me to stand next to two woman I admire, Kathy Wiley from Poco Dolce Chocolates, who won Best Chocolate and Fran Bigelow of Fran’s Chocolates, who won in the Classic category,” she said.
Two additional Hot Cakes products were finalists: The Smoked Chocolate Chips in the Chocolate category and the Vegan Salted Caramel Sauce in Diet or Lifestyle Product category. Martin and Wandres had a wonderful time at the show meeting fellow food lovers, trying new products, and introducing everyone to all the tasty Hot Cakes treats!

Hot Cakes is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 11pm and until 12am on Friday. Saturdays the shop is open from 10am to 12am and Sundays 10am to 11pm.
