Popular online news site theCHIVE has showed Seattleites some love with its first Chive Fest in Seattle (other cities include Chicago, Dallas, and Denver). The new music festival included local bites, KCCO (Keep Calm and Chive On) beers, oversized ostriches, Chivettes, and live performances by Girl Talk, Washed Out, Steel Panther, St. Lucia, The Birds of Satan, Surfer Blood, Moon Taxi, and Ghost Beach.

The festival started off slow, but by the end of the night heels, toes and hands were up in the air.

For those who missed the event this year, you will have to mark your calendar for 2015. CHIVE Fest is a community of fun spirited people who love to have fun, be themselves and enjoy life. What we enjoyed the most about the festival was the diversity of music, the beer, and how open people were to meet, mingle and share laughs. The event took place at Seattle’s popular destination, Seattle Center. The festival consisted of two stages, food, and beers. Not to mention a beautiful 90 degree day.

Take a look at some of the highlights below.

We leave you with a BIG THANK YOU! Two more shows left, visit chivefest.com for more info. We have a ton of photos available, let us know if you want to see more!

Next shows: Denver: August 16th, Dallas: November 1st, 2014.
