CityGuru recently rallied up five of the best chef’s in Seattle to host an unforgettable fundraiser dinner at Pike Place Market Atrium benefiting an amazing local nonprofit, Inspire Youth Project (IYP). IYP creates mentor programs for underprivileged kids and teens in Seattle. Their men and women leaders all have the goal of offering a loving, caring support system to these children, and the positive impact on our community is empowering.
Jason Stoneburner – Voted hottest chef of 2013, Jason owns some of Seattle’s favorites including Bastille, Stoneburner, Poquitos, Macleod’s and Von Trapp’s.
Lisa Dupar – Southern gal who made her way to Seattle, owner of Lisa Dupar Catering, Pomegranate Bistro, and author of award-winning cookbook, Fried Chicken and Champagne.
Karen Jurgensen – As a Chef Instructor at Seattle Culinary Academy, she also launched the sustainable courses at the academy, as well as a sustainable kitchen cookbook, “Chefs on the Farm”. Her “Farm to Table” cooking methods are a treat!
Rachel Yang – Owner of Seattle’s familiar favorites, Revel, Trove, and Joule, Rachel’s cooking brings a unique, modern perspective to Korean cuisine.

Karen Jurgensen: Juniper cured salmon, red onion pepper, horseradish creme, dilled aebleskiver
Ethan Stowell: Beef tenderloin with parsnip puree, laminate kale with bacon & red wine sauce
Rachel Yang: Charred Octopus with chili tapenade & basil tabouleh
Lisa Dupar: Spiced parfait, coconut tapioca pearls, dutch cocoa sorbet & candied nuts
