850 BOTTLES POPPED FOR DANIEL’S 35th

Daniel’s Broiler-Leschi has sold a staggering 850 bottles of Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label since Jan. 1, 2015. Considering the restaurant sold 31 bottles of Veuve Cliquot last year, 850 bottles is quite the feat, especially for a 29 table restaurant.

“When we first started the promotion, we weren’t expecting such explosive results. We wanted people to toast our anniversary with us, and the price of the Veuve was introduced as a fun reminder of it being our 35th,” said Lindsey Schwartz, CEO of Schwartz Brothers Restaurants. “The fact that it has had this amount of success has really been amazing to witness.”

The restaurant has been offering special pricing on the ordinarily pricey Brut Yellow Label in the spirit of their 35th anniversary—just $35 a bottle. Daniel’s Broiler-Leschi will be saying “Cheers to 35 Years” throughout the rest of the year and will continue to offer their $35 deal. With only three months of the year remaining, Daniel’s Broiler is well on its way to making its birthday wish come true: 1,000 bottles by Jan. 1, 2016.
