Drum roll…. the results are in!
The Bacon and Beer Classic returned to Safeco Field in Seattle for its third straight year! The stadium was packed with bacon, beer, games, and more bacon, oh and let’s not forget about the epic Bacon Eating Contest (photos below, don’t miss that one).
For those that missed this event, over 100+ craft brews and 30+ original bacon-infused dishes from Seattle’s top chefs and restaurants participated in the bacon classic. Restaurants include but not limited to Uli’s Famous Sausage, Pyramid Breweries, Rhein Haus, Ivars, Hard Rock Cafe, Eureka!, Bavarian Meats, Duke’s Chowder House, Blue C, Seattle Salads, Dumpling Tzar and more!
A panel of tastemakers in Seattle have rated both sips and dishes for the afternoon and evening sessions. Bacon and Beer Classic Trivia: The restaurant awarded the Best Overall Bacon Dish will go on to compete in the 2016 World Food Championships in Kissimmee, Florida.
