John Sundstrom is sharing his top pizza tricks in a hands-on pizza class on Saturday, June 17, from 11am to 2pm. He’ll be holding court at Southpaw, covering the ins and outs of dough making and shaping, pizza throwing, picking toppings, and wood oven firing.
Guests will learn how to sling pies like a pro, share a delicious summer lunch with Sundstrom, and even imbibe in a Cloudburst IPA or slushy margarita. Everyone will go home with a shiny new skill set as well as a pizza.
The class, which includes lunch, a beverage, and a pizza to go, is $95 per person, and there are just 12 spots available—so snag one soon by emailing info@southpawpizza.com.
(And, you know, a pizza class might just be the perfect Father’s Day gift!)
Southpaw is James Beard award-winning chef John Sundstrom’s pizza place. Opened in December of 2016, Southpaw’s name is a nod to all things wonderfully unorthodox, like a left-handed boxer’s stance and pizzas that are somewhere in-between Neapolitan and New York style, completed with familiar toppings as well as some out of left field. The simple menu also includes a few salads and small plates as well as house-made soft-serve ice cream. Drinks are all on tap, including beer and wine. Southpaw has a TV for catching a game and board games for the whole family to enjoy, and is open daily from 11am to 9pm. For more information, call 206.323.5278 or visit: www.southpawpizza.com.
Southpaw is located at 926 12th Avenue in Seattle, Washington.
