Matthews Winery hosted another successful “White Party” at its winery in Woodinville bringing hundreds of guests, great wines, food trucks, and music. The “White Party” has been an annual event most young professionals look forward to where they can dress up, catch up with old friends and wine down. The event has progressed nicely over the years with ample parking, full safety measure in place, and an atmosphere large enough to spread out and get comfortable.
Also to note, last year, the 2013 Matthews Claret was named 27th best wine in the world by Wine Spectator on December 7th, 2016. Its one of the most coveted wine awards you can win or even be named in the Top 100. Only four other Washington wineries made the Spectator’s 2016 list – Cayuse, Reynvaan, Sparkman and Charles Smith.
The Otis family has few new things they are working on called Farm Share, a weekly box of food & wine from the farm in Woodinville. We will be sharing more news on this soon. Stay tuned.
