Local Chinese restaurant chain, Dough Zone Dumpling House, is opening a new location at Harbor Steps, bringing their award-winning dumplings, noodles, and buns to the heart of downtown Seattle. Famed for their craveable flavors and textures, Dough Zone serves affordable comfort foods, elegantly plated. Their cozy dining rooms are accented with modern lighting, trademark steamer basket wall art, and plush seating, for a relaxing and convenient meal. The service is fast, but the flavors linger!

Menu Highlights

Dough Zone stands out for its extensive menu, offering over 50 delectable dishes. The most popular include four dough-based signature dishes: 

  • Q-BAO are fluffy buns filled with juicy Berkshire-Duroc pork that are steamed and pan-fried to create that perfect soft top and crispy bottom contrast.
  • Xiao Long Bao are soup dumplings filled with savory broth and Berkshire-Duroc pork, chicken, or crab.
  • Fried Wontons are pan-fried dumplings with a juicy chicken and vegetable filling, seated on a traditional “crispy skirt” base. They are served with chili sauce or sweet spicy garlic sauce.
  • Dan Dan Noodles are seasoned with a secret savory sauce featuring the fan-fave numbing Szechuan peppercorns, and topped with fresh green onion, sesame seeds, and umami pickled mustard leaves. 

On the side, opt for refreshing, lattice-sliced Sweet & Sour Cucumbers or satisfy your carb cravings with their chewy, aromatic Scallion Pancakes. For something sweeter, sip one of the five specialty beverages: Passion Fruit Green Tea, Sour Plum Juice, Milk Tea, Ube Milk Tea, or Thai Milk Tea.
